Note

In 1790 No. 11 Russell Street, Covent Garden and the shop on the corner were taken over by Thomas Harrison, who was already in occupation of the upper part of No. 1 and of No. 2 Little Piazza, which he had acquired in 1781. Under his ownership the three houses were known as the New Hummums Coffee House (or Tavern) and Hotel.
Probably the Thomas Harrison who in 1801 established the Tavistock Hotel on the north side of the Piazza.
Properties later leased to his two youngest sons.
The Harrisons were eventually succeeded by John Rockley who took over the tavern in 1835 and the hotel in 1842.
Age at burial 84.
