Note: The only suitable marriage of a George Bolam to a Mary that we have found is the 1818 marriage to Mary English in Newcastle. However, a descendant of George and Mary's daughter, Isabella, has a handwritten history from his grandmother Viola, which states that her grandmother's mother was named "Mary Bell", prior to marrying George. No corroboration of this has been found, but the 1818 marriage shown in the tree may relate to another George Bolam and Mary, and should therefore be treated with caution.
