No baptism for him has been found. However, the only other Anthony born around this time in this part of Co. Durham was Anthony, born 1681 in Dalton-le-Dale, who died young. Anthony Todd "Of Frosterley" was mentioned in 1730 will of his uncle, Robert Todd, along with other nephews and nieces of Robert who are known to be children of Anthony and Bridget. Will dated 25 Apr 1749 mentions sons Anthony (eldest), John, Cuthbert and daughter Margaret. Sons, John & Cuthbert appointed executors. |
