Went to Barbados to work for Sir James Lowther, eventually becoming a landowner there. Will dated 1793 (Barbados) left his estate to his wife and children. In the event of his death before his children came of age his brother Stephen of Speightstown, St. Peter, Barbados was to look after them. Thomas was a Bridgetown merchant. He set off for Great Britain in the "Speightstown". At Bermuda he boarded the "Tom Alexandra" for Britain, and was never heard of again. |
