22 Nov 1761 Mary Blackett of Staindrop, widow, administratrix of the goods etc. of Michael Blackett her late husband, deceased assigned to Christopher Johnson of Durham City, gent, her son, several mortgages and bonds held by her late husband and certain copyhold premises at Crainrow in the Manor of Wolsingham. Granted an annuity of £50 by her said son issuing out of his freehold, leasehold and copyhold lands in the chapelry of Hamsterley.
27 Jun 1764 "Mary ye widow of Michael Blackett from Staindrop buried". Will dated 23 Feb 1763 leaves estate to daughter Margaret, wife of John Chrishop, and to son Christopher Johnson.
