Note	Mentioned in his father's Will 6 Nov 1627 as joint executor with his brother John. Probably the Henry Blackett who, jointly with William Taylor of Edgeknowle, yeoman and John Hodges of Fitches, yeoman, conveyed 25 March 1653 one third of certain tithes of copyhold land at High Wham to Anthony Hodgson, son of Thomas Hodgson late of Hye Whame, yeoman. Hearth Tax Rolls 1666. Henry Blackett, Witton-le-Weare, paying. In his will dated 1 Oct 1676 appointed daughter Mary sole executrix. Mentions his sons, Edward, Henry, John and Phillip, and daughters, Mary and Barbary, and grandchildren, Hanah Fenwick, George Fenwick and John Fenwick, plus his son [in-law] Lancelot Fenwick. Will, inventory and will bond of Henery Blackett of Witton-le-Wear dated 1677 held by Durham University. Possibly the Henry Blackett who was lessee of lands and tenements called Stobilee, near Lanchester in 1645. At burial Henry Blackat[sic] senior.
