Note	In charge of Fallowfield mine in 1675 on behalf of his uncle, Sir William Blackett and mentionedin Sir William's Will 1680. Of Horton Grange, Ponteland. Acquired land and property in the village of Wylam 21 Jul 1679, followed by two farms in 1685. The Lordship included mineral rights, enabling the family to develop the colliery.
